This Sunday, we will celebrate all the progress the confirmation students have made over this past year! The word “Confirmation” means different things to different people. For us at New City, this confirmation program has focused on a walk-through-the-Bible approach. The students have engaged vital Biblical narratives foundational to the Christian faith and covered the essential theological cornerstones that the church holds dear. We have encouraged/required students to participate in Scripture memory, learned to listen critically when we are together as a congregation, and on occasion, have gone out together and served our wider community. Join us as we honor these students!
