Covenant Affirmations: We We Believe in the ECC

New City Covenant Church doesn’t exist in isolation. We partner with God as members of the big “C” global church, and more specifically as part of the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination. There are six primary affirmations we believe in the ECC: the centrality of the Word of God, the conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit, the necessity of new birth, a commitment to the whole mission of the church, the church as a fellowship of believers, and the reality of freedom in Christ. Over the next few weeks, we will unpack the meaning of those affirmations.
