Basic Needs Drive

New City Youth will be sponsoring a BASIC NEEDS DRIVE for the nonprofit Juvenile Justice Advocate International. Doug Keillor, the Founder, came to New City to speak with the adults and the youth and we are excited to partner with JJAI. One thing we can do is to gather donations to give to the kids and teens that are in detention centers. They are in need of t-shirts (they need to be plain white t-shirts with nothing written on them, in a Youth Medium, Large or Adult Smalls), shoes (they need to be in good condition with no laces w sizes fitting ages 12-18), toothbrushes, and underwear. Some of these kids share socks and underwear and could use their own pair. If you’re able to bring anything to donate over the next few Sundays that would be a big help to both Doug, JJAI, and the kids he works with. Questions? Talk to Maddy Fernands or Mary March (
