Children were and still are important to Jesus. He took time in his busy ministry schedule to spend time with them. Children are important to us as well, and we structure our Sunday morning class rooms for children in order to facilitate their connection with God and with one another.
Toddlers (Ages 1 & 2 years old): Toddlers gather for a time of song, bible story, and the Lord's Prayer followed but constructive play. The teachers focus on connecting with the toddlers, introducing them to God and helping them to have fun.
Preschool (Ages 3-5 years old): Preschoolers are given constructive bible learning, prayer, and songs as well as some free play. The bible lessons for this classroom will focus on who God is and God's heart for them. The teachers focus on giving preschoolers one main idea about God. Teachers focus on connecting with the preschoolers, developing their relationship with God and creating a fun and active environment.
Elementary (Ages 6-12 years old): Elementary students are equipped with thoughtful lessons from a Sunday School curriculum taught by dedicated teachers who focus helping the children connect to God personally, connect to God's people and to God's purposes.
All classes meet in the Gallery Room in the Rec Center. Basic peanut-free snacks will be given to the students in the Gallery Room, and upon checking in, you will be asked to note if your child has any food allergies. If your child has allergies, you are welcomed to bring an alternative snack.
Infants and Nursing Mothers: "The Happy Room" is available for nursing mothers and infants in the rear of the sanctuary.
